About me
I’m a product-minded software engineer who enjoys building full stack web based applications. As a classically trained biologist, my background in STEM helps me leverage critical thinking skills such as making observations, experiments, and analysis in the realm of software. Problems I find engaging include data flow, schema and API design.
As an engineer who values empathy and a visionary idealist at heart, I thrive in agile, collaborative environments that focus on constant self-improvement. I am passionate about bringing more diversity into tech and providing educational opportunities to marginalized communities.
Outside of development, I love learning about my Chinese heritage (studying new idioms, discovering traditional dishes). You can find me checking out locally-owned coffee shops and ice cream parlors, trying my hand at a new combination at the boxing gym, or running along the Embarcadero.
